About Me

I was born, raised & still live in Queens. New York City is the greatest city on earth, and I can’t even think of making anywhere else my home.

Recently separated, I am the father of two wonderful boys. They are the shining stars of my life, and they appear many times through out these galleries. I live alone in my Treehouse with my pet Bonsi Jeremiah. It’s a wonderful place, but never as happy as when their laughter fills it.

I remember the day I got my first camera – a Polaroid from my god-parents. I’ve enjoyed photography since then. A few cameras have passed through my hands since then, and I finally outgrew my latest digital point & shoot, so I purchased my Nikon D40, lovingly named “Cindy”.

Any ability I have for this art form was passed to me from my mother and grandfather. They were the master photographers, and I’m not even close to their level.

My passion and thirst for music is unquenchable. Rooted deeply in the music of The Grateful Dead, I branch out into every genre that moves me. Be it a quiet night at home with Miles & Coltrane or a loud bar with the blues dripping off stage, the one constant of my life is the beauty of sound.

Living in New York City gives me endless opportunities and a never-ending stream of subjects. Walking down any street will yield amazing sights, and I hope to capture as many of them as possible.
